Give each product a role in the range

A floral stem bar, home décor store, online shop and distributor need different product depths. Start with the published references: rose sets offer red and white options, peonies have separate 8-peony, 16-peony and 3-piece configurations, and the fixed purple orchid arrangement includes a ceramic planter. Peony vases shown in styling images are excluded. Record which source option you want to buy and what you intend to sell as one unit; those are not always the same.

Compare formats in the wholesale artificial flowers collection before deciding how each reference will be sold in your store.

Specify the packaging your channel needs

Ask about individual protection, inner packs, master cartons, labeling and barcodes before approving a quotation. For online resale, specify the package needed for onward shipping, including protection for flower heads or ceramic pots. Provide marketplace or retail label requirements rather than assuming the source listing's packaging meets them. Confirm permission to use product photographs, copy and brand assets. A wholesale order does not by itself establish media rights, direct-to-consumer fulfillment or marketplace compliance.

Use the shipping and packaging checklist to specify protective packs, carton dimensions and onward-shipping requirements.

For label or presentation changes, prepare a custom packaging and OEM inquiry; feasibility must be reviewed for the selected item.

  • State your label, barcode, language, and carton-mark requirements.
  • Identify any channel-specific packaging or handling constraints.
  • Confirm whether requested packaging changes are feasible and separately priced.

Compare landed-cost inputs consistently

Ask for the selling unit, quantity break, packing quantity, carton size, gross weight, and delivery basis. Request a clear list of what the quoted price includes. Freight, import charges, local delivery, inspection, and your own receiving work may need separate budgeting. A unit-price comparison is incomplete if the quoted product contents or delivery terms differ.

Ask about repeat orders early

Include your expected reorder pattern, estimated quantities by option and the references you regard as core stock. Ask how changes in availability, color, packaging or components would be communicated and whether later orders can use the same specification. Keep an approved product record with photographs, included pieces and label artwork for receiving checks. Stock continuity, fulfillment arrangements and shipping origin need confirmation for your account and order.
